In early 2012, I began this photographic essay. It is still ongoing in 2018!
Currently this series has been edited to mostly Hasselblad 6x6 images (but there are also some 35mm photos already made) and medium format 6x7 photos appear on the site in HOURGLASS Redux. Stay tuned.
The majority of these photos were shot using varied medium format cameras (Hasselblad, Bronica SQ-A, and Yashica 124G). Most were shot in 2010/2011, but a few are older than that...
Additional photos were made using various 35mm gear and the text was added via Adobe Photoshop CS5, or within the bookmaking software. I'm not 100% sold on the Blurb POD publishing outlet -- have found their printing to be hit or miss. But I did test the waters with this small book.

This is a new section: I'm writing short explanations or the background behind specific photographs -- what I was thinking, or attempting to do.
The first photo I'm detailing was made on either the 2nd or possibly the 3rd of December, 2012.
